• Role: Veterinary Technician/Assistant
• Status: Full-time
• Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
• Schedule: 38-40 hours/week, 4 shifts occurring on weekdays only

As an experienced veterinary technician/assistant, you already know what it takes to thrive in the fast-paced world, rewarding world of veterinary medicine. At Desert Sky Animal Hospital, we are looking for a skilled professional to bring expertise, energy, and drive to our dedicated team.

• We are currently seeking a veterinary technician/assistant with strong clinical experience and a desire to grow in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Key skills for this role include:
• Medication calculations, dispensing, and administration
• Obtaining patient histories and maintaining electronic records
• Surgical support including prep, monitoring, recovery, and discharge
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Assisting in diagnostic procedures
• Monitoring hospitalized and post-op patients and providing nursing care
• Animal restraint and handling
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
• Client education and communication reviewing estimates, treatment plans, medications, post-op care, and follow up with clients
